Philip Mark David, Co-Founder and CEO

Philip Mark David has been a writer and actor since his youth. Wanting to further his talents in the literary field, Mr. David continued writing throughout his high school and college years, submitting short stories, plays, screenplays and novels to as many publishers he could find until able to break into the vastly competitive industries of literature and film. After working very hard through the years, Mr. David is an accomplished and published writer who continues to enjoy writing for the screen, as well as the occasional book when time permits.

Looking back on his own youth and finding that his own path in writing had little or no real one-on-one guidance from mentors who knew what it took to get your material out into the business world, he decided to join forces with another accomplished person, the late co-founder Mr. Jeff Johnson, of what is now Canyon Rock Screenplay Agency. He wanted to bring a collaborative and informative educational process directly to the writer, no matter where they were in their stages of writing, new or seasoned.

Today, Mr. David proudly boasts a humble business that offers not only in-depth critiques and coverage for screenplays, but allows the writer to grow and expand their knowledge in the writing process and gain awareness for legitimate business goals for their literary works.
